Q. When does the library offer research help, especially on the weekends?

Answer

The Reference Desk is open every day on the week including weekends. The desk is open M-TH from 8a.m. to 11p.m., Friday from 9-5, Saturday from 12-5, and from Sunday 12-5. The Reference Desk is located on the second floor of the library, next to the computer lab. You can also call the desk for research help at 310-243-3582.

At the Reference Desk we can help you with research such as finding resources, narrowing your topic, and citing your sources. You also have the option of scheduling an hour long consultation with one of the reference librarians. You can schedule an appointment here.

If you need help with writing, formatting or editing a paper, you need to contact the Toro Learning Center which is on the 1st floor of the Library North in Room C121. You can contact them to make an appointment at 310-243-3827.
