Q. What are digital collections?

Answer

Digital Collections can be both from the CSUDH 'paper-based' collections or items that have always been digital, such as electronic correspondence, and digital images.

Archives and Special Collections has scanned items from our paper-based collections from the CSUDH campus photograph collection, the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, the history of Rancho San Pedro and the Dominguez Family, the 1910 International Air Meet at Dominguez Field, the Tradeswomen Archives Project, the Long Beach Fireman's Histiorcal Museum Collection, and the California State University Japanese American Digitization Project.

You can find out more information about CSUDH's Digital Collections and access digital collection materials at the CSUDH Digital Collections website.

To learn more about these items, contact the department at archives@csudh.edu, (310) 243-3895, or on the 5th floor south wing of the library.
