I'm emeritus faculty. What privileges do I have in the library?

Answer

If you are an emeritus faculty member, you retain the same privileges for borrowing and accessing materials as you did when you were a faculty member, including interlibrary loan and off-campus access to databases.

In order to set up access for electronic materials, please bring your emeritus letter from the President to the Faculty Affairs office. They will assist you with beginning the process of setting up the privileges that you need. Because the campus uses a single sign-on (SSO) process, you will use the same username and password to log into OneSearch, access databases, and use your library account online as you use for your CSUDH email and MyCSUDH. Please allow a minimum of 7-10 business days to complete the process.

If you have any questions about your privileges or the process for gaining access as emeritus faculty, please contact Robert Downs from Library User Services at (310) 243-2404.
